Efficiency by 3D- software

Nowadays many components can already be imported as 3D- file from the supplier’s site and, if not available, can easily be drawn in 3D yourself. It’s ‘just’ a matter of assembling these components into a complete product. Design, shape and feasibility can already almost be tested for 100% on the screen at an early stage before production actually starts.

Besides, manufacturers of housings and mechanic components can directly work from these 3D-files. As dimensions etc. have been tested in the 3D-package in advance the final margin of error at production will be nil. For this reason, we have full control of the (serial-) production.

Cimar Electronics has been using the renowned 3D-software package “Autodesk inventor” for some time now to perfectly adapt the mechanics to electronics and electrotechnics. In this way we have full control of the design before the first prototype is produced and have the assembly drawings at hand for production immediately: maximum efficiency in the planning process. Of course we can also import 3D-files from other 3D-software packages.

The 3D-files can, besides creating “traditional” standard CAD-drawings, for example also be used to control a 3D-printer. A time- and money saving, tangible product will be the result.
